If you made any efficient improvements to your home in 2023 you may qualify for a tax credit up to $3200.

It is called the energy efficient home improvement credit

It is covered under the inflation, reduction act there is a federal law

If you did insulation work in your home or change the exterior doors for more efficient doors, exterior windows, skylights or you need a home energy assessment and you pay for it yourself also, if you change your or install central AC natural gas, propane or oil water heater any improvements in replaced and replacement of electric, electric panel boards, circuit circuit ref your east if you install heat pumps or by my stove by my spoilers all those types of investments in your home qualify

For heat pumps the rebate is 30% of the expenditure to $2000

And for insulation work and doors windows what they called building envelope, the tax credit is 30% of the expenditure up to $1200, when you add everything.
